What is Big Boggle?
Standard Boggle uses a 4×4 grid (16 letter cubes). Big Boggle uses a 5×5 grid (25 cubes), which allows for longer words and a significantly larger number of possible paths. Toggle the switch at the top of the page to match your game board size.
How are Boggle points calculated?
3–4 letter words score 1 point, 5-letter words score 2 points, 6-letter words score 3 points, 7-letter words score 5 points, and any word 8 letters or longer scores 11 points. Results are sorted by point value within each length group so your highest-scoring opportunities are always visible first.
Can a letter be used more than once in a word?
No — following official Boggle rules, each physical cube can only be used once per word. The solver enforces this by tracking which cells have been visited in each path and never revisiting them within the same word.
What is the best Boggle strategy?
Focus first on longer words — a single 7-letter word (5 points) outscores five 3-letter words (1 point each).
