How does the Quordle Solver work?
Quordle is four simultaneous Wordle puzzles. This solver lets you enter constraints for each of the four grids independently — known letter positions, letters confirmed absent, and letters you know are present somewhere. It then narrows down all possible words for each grid at the same time.
What do the three input fields mean for each grid?
Pattern accepts your known letter positions using underscores for unknowns — for example "_ea_t" finds words with E in position 2, A in position 3, and T in position 5. Excluded letters are those confirmed absent from that word. Contains letters are those you know are in the word somewhere but haven't placed yet (yellow tiles in Quordle).
Do I have to fill out all four grids?
No — fill in only the grids you need help with. Grids left blank will return all possible 5-letter words, which is still useful as a starting pool to cross-reference against your other constraints.
How should I manage four grids at once?
The key Quordle strategy is to use your early guesses to gather information across all four grids rather than trying to solve any one grid too quickly. Start with high-information words that test common letters. Once you have yellow or green tiles in multiple grids, use the solver on each grid with its specific constraints.
What is the best opening word for Quordle?
Because you are solving four puzzles simultaneously, the first two guesses in Quordle are usually treated as pure information-gathering. Words like CRANE, STOLE, WHIPS, or DUMPY together cover a wide range of common letters. The solver is most useful from guess three onwards when you have enough constraints to narrow down each grid.
Are all results valid Quordle words?
